About Us

Tennessee’s Center for Decision-Making Support is a collaborative effort by the The Arc Tennessee, Tennessee’s Council on Developmental Disabilities and Disability Rights Tennessee.  The idea for creating this resource first began in 2019.

The Center’s goal is to provide easy to understand, accurate information about all decision-making support options for people with disabilities, in one place.

As a leading advocacy organization for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, The Arc Tennessee leads the support staff and resources for this Center.

This site is made possible by financial and content contributions from Tennessee’s Council on Developmental Disabilities.  This Council is a state agency established to improve disability policies, educate policymakers, and build community collaborations.

Disability Rights Tennessee, another non-profit organization, is Tennessee’s Protection and Advocacy organization that provides legal assistance to protect the rights of individuals with disabilities.
